How It's Made
These cups begin their journey as fast-growing bamboo, a highly renewable grass that regenerates naturally without the need for replanting. The bamboo stalks are harvested, cleaned, and processed into a strong fibrous pulp, similar to paper but without cutting down trees. This pulp is then molded into shape and finished with a thin lining of PLA (Polylactic Acid), a plant-based bioplastic derived from renewable resources like cornstarch. This bio-lining ensures the cup is completely leak-proof for hot and cold beverages while remaining commercially compostable.
