Unlike traditional cups that use plastic or PLA liners, these are Certified Home Compostable (AS 5810). They are sturdy, leak-proof, and safe for beer, cider, and mixed drinks.

How It's Made

Instead of using a traditional petroleum plastic (PE) or bioplastic (PLA) liner to make them waterproof, they are finished with a revolutionary Aqueous (Water-Based) Coating. This innovative process applies a water-based dispersion that absorbs into the paper fibers rather than sitting on top as a separate layer. The result is a completely plastic-free, leak-proof barrier that allows the cup to be recycled with standard paper streams or composted at home.
